Selling Your Domain Name

Q: Does it cost anything to sell my domain name?
No. Listing your domain for sale is 100% free and we will not charge you a commission once your domain has been sold However, once you have agreed to sell the domain, if you would like us to act as an escrow agent, a fee of $100 will need to be paid by either you or the buyer.

Q: Can any .au domain name be listed for sale?
You cannot transfer a .au domain name that is less than 6 months old.

Q: How will I receive payment for my domain once it has been sold?
Once you have agreed to sell the domain for the price offered by the buyer, you can arrange payment with the buyer directly or we can act as an escrow agent and hold the funds until the domain has been transferred to the new owner. Once the domain has been transfered, we will deposit the funds into your account. The escrow service costs $100 and is payable by either party.

Q: How can i find out who wants to buy my domain?
In the interests of privacy, we will never release the details of the buyer.

Q: How long will you list my domain for sale?
There is no limit. We will list your domain(s) on our website until it is sold, or until you wish to have it removed

Buying a Domain Name

Q: Can anyone purchase a .com.au domain name?
No. You must be within auDA policy to own a .au domain name. Generally speaking, you will need to be an Australian company or an ABN/ACN holder that has a direct or close and substancial relationship to the domain name. For more information, please refer to the auDA .au policies.

Q: How do I pay for the domain I want to purchase?
Once the seller has agreed to sell the domain for the price offered, we will contact you with details. If you would like us to act us an escrow agent, we will hold the funds until the domain transfer has taken place.

Q: Is there any additional costs involved in purchasing a domain?
You will need to pay GST and a domain transfer fee of $120 for each domain, which includes 2 years registration for the domain. If you would like us to act as an escrow agent, a fee of $100 will need to be paid by either you or the seller.

Q: After buying a domain, can I transfer to a registrar of my choice?
Yes, of course you can. If your looking for a decent one, we'd recommend DDNS :)

Q: How can i find out who is selling a domain?
In the interests of privacy, we will never release the details of the seller.

Q: Are the prices inclusive of GST?
No the prices listed on this website are exclusive of GST.
